The Ritesh Shah Charitable Pharmacy (RSCP), New Jersey's first ever Charitable Pharmacy
welcomed Senator Cory Booker on Aug.11, who paid a visit to the facility to observe the vital work being carried out by RSCP to support underserved and uninsured patients within the community.
During his visit, Senator Booker praised the mission and impact of RSCP. "I was so moved, if not blown away, by Ritesh Shah Charitable Pharmacy. They do extraordinary things: literally millions of dollars of pharmaceutical expertise and prescription drugs free to the community. In many ways, they are showing what love is about. It is service. It is sacrifice. I want to thank them for being truly a light in our state," he remarked.
Senator Booker highlighted the significance of the visit, calling it "truly the most inspiring stop I’ve had in all of my 21-county tours."
Ritesh Shah, the founder of RSCP, expressed his gratitude for the Senator's visit, stating, "We are deeply honored to have Senator Booker visit our pharmacy and see our work firsthand. His recognition of our efforts reinforces our commitment to improving access to essential medications and healthcare services. We are grateful for his support and inspired by his kind words."
