Sewa International USA, a humanitarian non-profit organization with a foundation in the Hindu faith, has established an Israel War Relief Fund. This fund is designed to offer aid to the Israeli and Jewish communities impacted by the ongoing conflict.

Israel is currently facing a significant crisis, and Sewa International is reaching out to seek assistance for their Israel War Relief Fund, the organization said on its official fundraiser page.

“The situation in Israel is dire, marked by a substantial loss of civilian lives and numerous kidnappings. Many families are in distress, and medical facilities and hospitals are struggling to meet the overwhelming demand for care. The situation calls for immediate support to deliver essential supplies, save lives, and provide crucial care,” it added.

The allocated funds will be put to effective use in addressing two pivotal dimensions of the ongoing crisis. Firstly, they will facilitate the dispatch of essential medical supplies to hospitals, playing a crucial role in the treatment of the injured and the preservation of lives.

Secondly, since the distressing events in Israel have resulted in emotional trauma that has resonated not only with Israelis but also with Jewish communities in the United States, the donations will empower the organization to provide trauma counselling and support services, extending valuable assistance to individuals as they navigate the emotional challenges stemming from these difficult circumstances.

Meanwhile, Israel issued an October 14 deadline for over one million Palestinians living in northern Gaza to relocate to the southern region. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that Israel's response to recent Hamas activities in southern Israel marked only the initial phase of their actions.
