Sikh American entrepreneur integrates philanthropy into investment strategy

Manpreet Singh’s firm ran an internship program that hired over 75 summer analysts in the past five years, providing career opportunities for young professionals.

Manpreet Singh, co-founder and chief investment officer of Washington-based investment firm Singh Capital, emphasized philanthropy and community service while expanding the company’s investments in venture capital, private equity, and real estate.

Singh Capital is focused on supporting minority communities, particularly Sikh Americans, by increasing access to alternative investments. “Our philanthropy focused on the Sikh community in the United States may be what sets us apart,” Singh said.
