Sikh spiritual leader Giani Raghbir Singh felicitated in Chicago

Revered spiritual head of the Sikh faith, Giani Raghbir Singh, was felicitated in Chicago on May 4. Singh is the head granthi of India's Golden Temple and Jathedar of the Akal Takht. The event, hosted by Harry and Shilpa Mohan in Kildare, Illinois, featured high-ranking community and business leaders, including Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi and Consul General of India in Chicago Somnath Ghosh.
This ceremony celebrated Giani Raghbir Singh's esteemed role as a spiritual guide and educator in Sikhism. Special remarks by Consul General Ghosh and Congressman Krishnamoorthi highlighted the importance of bilateral relations, community empowerment, global cooperation, and the role of faith in inspiring purpose and strengthening society.
