Sixth International Hindi Conference 2024 hosted in NY
The Consulate General of India, New York, hosted the conference to celebrate Hindi language and its heritage.

The event celebrated the richness of the Hindi language and promoted cross-cultural exchanges, fostering a deeper connection among the global Hindi-speaking diaspora. With an eclectic blend of academic discussions and artistic performances, the conference demonstrated the growing global interest in Hindi as both a language and a cultural force.
Hindi Sangam Foundation, in partnership with the Consulate General of India, New York, hosted the International Hindi Conference on Oct. 25 and 26.
The event, hosted by Consul-General Binaya S. Pradhan, was packed with vibrant cultural performances, lively poetry competitions, engaging storytelling sessions, and thought-provoking academic presentations.

A major highlight was the captivating play Na Nahaye Bahadur, staged by the Prayog Natya Academy, which kept the audience thoroughly entertained.
The Consulate appreciated the key contributors for making the event a resounding success, including Ashok Ojha from Yuva Hindi Sansthan, Poornima Desai from Shikshayatan Cultural Center, Rajeev Ranjan from Michigan State University, Bijoy Mehta from Akhil Vishwa Hindi Samiti, Gabriela Nik. Ilieva from New York University, Anoop Bhargav from Jhilmil USA, Ameeya Mehta from Prayog Theatre, and Neena Sareen for her vital role in engaging the audience.
