The India Association of Long Island organized a senior group trip to Atlantic City on Aug.11, alongside Dr. Binod Verma and Meena Verma.

These outings are coordinated under the banner of the "Meet and Greet" group. Over the years, the Vermas have brought people together to emphasize the importance of social interaction for mental and physical well-being.

The group started their journey in a luxurious coach shuttle, a popular choice among seniors for its comfort, convenience, and affordability. The trip began in Hicksville, with a second stop in Herricks, where participants enjoyed a breakfast of bagels and Dunkin' coffee.

Before reaching their destination, the group stopped for lunch at "The Nizams," an authentic Indian restaurant. Then, they came to Tropicana Casino where  they played all the games available to them.

For those not interested in gambling, the Atlantic City Boardwalk offered a scenic and historic experience, stretching for miles along the coastline.

On the return trip, the group once again stopped at "The Nizams," where they were welcomed by the manager, Mr. Vinod Villore, and his staff.

Mr. Villore highlighted the restaurant's diverse staff, representing various nationalities, and their commitment to excellent hospitality.

Participants reportedly enjoyed a day of fun and relaxation but also had the opportunity to meet new people and forge lasting friendships.
