ThoughtFocus names Santhosh Ananthakrishnan as CBO

ThoughtFocus Inc, a US-based digital services and technology company, has appointed Indian American Santhosh Ananthakrishnan as its chief business officer.

In the new capacity, he will be responsible for defining the agenda and growth strategies of the company, overseeing strategic change initiatives and creating long-term value for all stakeholders. He will report to chief executive officer Shylesh Krishnan.

Expressing delight over the long-term customer relationships that the firm has built, Ananthakrishnan said, “The culture of excellence built by the founders and their aspiration to leave a legacy resonates very well with me. All of this is getting a major boost with the latest round of growth investment from H.I.G. Capital.”

Ananthakrishnan has over 25 years of experience in catalyzing substantial growth through business technology innovation. He has led the global mortgage business at Tata Consultancy Services and has held various leadership roles at Freddie Mac. 

He has also served in various roles at Longitude Systems, Cybercash Inc and GE Medical Systems. Ananthakrishnan earned his bachelor's from the University of Calicut and an MBA from the University of Maryland. He went on to attend the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, the London Business School, and The Wharton School for higher studies.
