Three Indian-origin students named Arizona’s 2025 Flinn Scholars

The Class of 2025 will be formally introduced at the Flinn Scholars Recognition Luncheon on May.3.

Three Indian-origin high school seniors– Smilangi Sidhugari, Jishnu Nayak, and Sudeep Vattikuti have been named recipients of the 2025 Flinn Scholarship, Arizona’s most competitive and sought-after merit-based academic award. The trio are part of a select cohort of 20 students chosen from over 1,100 applicants statewide.

The Flinn Scholarship, now in its 40th year, offers each recipient a full-ride scholarship to one of Arizona’s public universities, along with additional perks like at least two funded study-abroad experiences. The total value of the award is estimated at more than $135,000 per student.
