TiEcon 2025 will unite top minds in technology, AI, and innovation under the AiVerse theme. / TiE Silicon Valley

TiEcon 2025 is set to commence on April 30, 2025, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, marking a significant event in the calendar for entrepreneurs and innovators.  

The theme of the conference this year is  AiVerse Awaits. Anita Manwani, president of TiE Silicon Valley, provided insights to New India Abroad regarding the upcoming conference and what attendees can anticipate this year. 

Industry leaders who have led large-scale AI deployments in the enterprise space will share with attendees the current trends. Attendees will learn about AI industry use cases and best practices, challenges in operationalizing AI, emerging trends, and the future of AI in business.

The Automotive and Mobility track at TiEcon 2025 will explore AI’s transformative role in transportation. From autonomous vehicles and smart infrastructure to AI-optimized supply chains and connected ecosystems, industry leaders will discuss innovations shaping mobility’s future. 

A deep dive into AI's dual role in reshaping Cybersecurity—powering smarter defenses while posing new risks that demand securing AI itself will be discussed by panelists. They will explore the main requirements for building secure AI agent experiences, development risks for your product and customers, and best practices for mitigating the risks. 

The keynote panel will convene leaders from cybersecurity, intelligence, investment, and advocacy to explore how we build a secure, resilient, and innovation-driven future in an era defined by seismic global transformation and polycrisis.

A panel will explore the practical considerations of building secure AI-powered applications, from data privacy and model robustness to navigating the evolving threat landscape. The rapid integration of AI into software development presents unprecedented opportunities, but also significant security challenges. They will discuss best practices, emerging technologies, and the critical balance between innovation and security.

 

 

Cybersecurity has emerged not only as a technical discipline—but as a strategic imperative shaping global policy, commerce, and stability. At the intersection of AI and defense, two panels will discuss how AI is revolutionizing the future of global security and innovation. Space/Drones and the New Frontier of Technology will examine the latest innovations, such as advanced propulsion systems, AI-driven robotics, and hybrid power systems for drones. The panel will highlight how these technologies are revolutionizing industries from disaster response to commercial applications. 

Panel 2 on Defense and AI- Battlefield of the Future will focus in on how AI technologies are reshaping defense strategies and battlefield dynamics.

Global Connect brings together global leaders to share, connect and empower ecosystems across domains, technologies and investments. Global collaboration in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in tackling complex global challenges and harnessing opportunities across borders. 

Led by Jagdeep Singh Bachher, chief investment officer of the Regents who manages University of California investment funds and provides fiduciary oversight, the Guardrails & Ethics track will have Jennifer Chayes, the dean of the UC Berkeley College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS), the first new college at Berkeley in over 50 years. They will explore the intersection of AI, policy, and ethics, addressing critical questions around accountability, transparency, bias mitigation, regulatory compliance, and the broader societal impact of AI.

At TieCon 2025, distinct sessions under the Go-to-Market track are scheduled for May 2, as seen from the eyes and lenses of CEOs, CMOs, and CIOs.  Attendees will learn strategies to position AI as an enabler of business outcomes, and gain insights into how enterprises evaluate AI’s long-term impact on their GTM operations.

From Startup to Scale in the AI Era, Go-to-Market keynote will be by Jyoti Bansal, CEO and founder of Harness  and Traceable. The CMO session: Building the Marketing Flywheel: AI, Data, and Intelligent Engagement and the CIO session: Selling AI to CIOs: How Enterprises Buy, Pilot, and Scale GTM AI Technologies will provide understanding of CIO buying priorities, adoption hurdles, and evaluation criteria.

The Healthcare & Life Sciences track at TiEcon 2025: AiVerse explores how AI is transforming the industry, improving outcomes, and reshaping the patient experience. The intersection of AI, policy, and ethics, addressing critical questions around accountability, transparency, bias mitigation, regulatory compliance, and the broader societal impact of AI.

Tomorrow’s media ecosystem will be discussed in the tracks titled How is AI changing the creativity game, South Asian storytelling & creators - representation in entertainment at a global stage and Ad Tech in the new age. The trends shaping the future of media, the rise of short-form video, the evolution of episodic content, and the enduring power of live sports as well as  an exploration of the battle between ad-supported and subscription models.

An overarching view of the key AI trends in retail, including GenAI-powered personalization, AI-enhanced logistics, autonomous commerce, and the rise of intelligent shopping assistants will be shared  to give insight into how brands attract, engage, and serve customers.

The Semiconductor & Deeptech track at TiEcon 2025: AiVerse delves into the cutting-edge innovations driving the future of AI infrastructure, from next-gen chip architectures to quantum computing and beyond. 

In its 32nd year, TiECon will unite not only big names in technology, AI, and innovation under the AiVerse theme, but also breakthrough founders and innovators exploring the vast potential of applied AI. The event will serve as a crucial platform for startup founders, corporate executives, tech professionals, and investors to network, gain insights and start their journey of entrepreneurship.
