TIME has honored Indian origin, Anima Anandkumar, Professor at the California Institute of Technology, and Arvind Krishna, chairman, president, and CEO of IBM, with the 2025 TIME100 AI Impact Awards.
Their achievements will be celebrated in Dubai on Feb. 10 with the World Governments Summit and the Museum of the Future.
These prestigious awards recognize individuals who have made groundbreaking contributions to the field of artificial intelligence, shaping the future of technology and innovation.
Anandkumar, a leading AI researcher, has played a pivotal role in advancing machine learning and artificial intelligence, particularly in high-performance computing and neural network architectures. Her work continues to influence academia and industry, driving forward the capabilities of AI.

Krishna has been instrumental in IBM’s AI-driven initiatives, spearheading advancements in quantum computing and enterprise AI solutions. Under his leadership, IBM has remained at the forefront of AI innovation, transforming industries and expanding the practical applications of artificial intelligence.

Apart from Anandkumar and Krishna, the 2025 TIME100 AI Impact Awards also recognized Grimes, producer, musician, self-replicating artist, and CEO of Media Empire, and Turkish American Refik Anadol, media artist, director, and co-founder of Refik Anadol Studio and Dataland.
