Dr. Nader, a Lebanese-American scholar with a background in neuroscience and Vedic studies, has dedicated his life to advancing the teachings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
He is the current president of Maharishi International University, which was founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The university is known for integrating Consciousness-Based Education (CBE) with traditional academic disciplines. MIU incorporates the practice of Transcendental Meditation (TM) into its curriculum, emphasizing holistic personal development alongside academic learning.
After meeting with PM Modi, Dr. Nader shared his thoughts on X, which he posted on Feb. 11, and described the interaction as deeply fulfilling.
He wrote, “I had a deeply fulfilling meeting with the Honorable Prime Minister Modi ji at his residence, where we discussed the Veda, Maharishi, Transcendental Meditation, consciousness, and science. It was truly inspiring to witness firsthand the wisdom, knowledge, and deep care of a leader who supports not just India but the entire world family. The people of India are fortunate to have his guidance. Under his visionary and nurturing leadership, India is rising across many fields and playing an increasingly significant role in fostering global peace and harmony among nations.”
Dr. Nader’s engagement with Indian philosophy and his efforts to bridge Eastern wisdom with Western scientific research has earned him global recognition.
