Indian Americans for Trump, a group that aims to have Donald J. Trump re-elected as the President of the USA has called on his opponent Nikki Haley to resolve her differences with the former president.
According to the group, Haley’s words to describe Trump during her campaign, such as “Chaos” are being picked up by the Democrats to attack Trump.
“This is just one example of one word that Democrats are using from Nikki Haley as weapons of a political fight for the presidency between the two parties and Nikki Haley is unintentionally becoming an instrument of the Democrat’s plan,” the group said in a statement.
“The Indian Americans for Trump 2024 asks her to resolve her differences with Trump and the Republican Party before she causes further damage to the chances of Trump’s and the Republicans’ victories in 2024,” they added citing Haley’s consecutive losses in Iowa, New Hampshire and recently Nevada.
The group led by A. D. Amar, a business professor at Seton Hall University, believes that there is no candidate in either party who could come close to the office of Presidency. It works towards actively gathering the support of all Americans, particularly Indian Americans, to have Donald J. Trump re-elected as the President of the USA.
Meanwhile, the two candidates will be on the ballot in the South Carolina primary scheduled to be held on February 24. According to polling averages, Trump leads Haley in her home state by more than 30 points. Nearly all of the state’s Republican officials have endorsed the former President over their former governor, including Gov. Henry McMaster, Senators Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott, and five of the state’s six U.S. House members.
