North America’s South Asian television network, TV Asia, launched its latest political commentary segment, Inside the Headlines with Alex Zdan on April 21.
The nightly program, hosted by award-winning journalist and political strategist Alex Zdan, is part of the network’s newly introduced “Political Pulse” series. It aims to deliver in-depth political analysis tailored to the global South Asian diaspora.

The show features Zdan’s commentary during TV Asia’s flagship nightly news program Community Roundup (C.R.U.P.), now in its 18th year.The segment is broadcast at 6:30 pm, 9:30 pm, and 12:30 am Eastern Time (ET) six days a week across the United States, India, Canada, the Caribbean, the U.K., and Australia.
“TV Asia has led the way in community news for over three decades,” said H.R. Shah, chairman and CEO of TV Asia. “Bringing Alex Zdan’s experience and political insight to our platform will deepen our coverage and offer our viewers sharp, relevant perspectives on today’s most important issues.”
Zdan, a former host of Power & Politics on News 12, has appeared on national platforms such as Fox News, News Nation, NDTV, and Newsmax. He is also known for his investigative work and political commentary, including his reporting on major criminal cases and political campaigns.

The series is produced by Jacqueline Tobacco of Scorpio Six Media, a veteran producer known for her work in both political and mainstream media. Tobacco’s credits include NFL Films’ Catching Odell, Bravo’s Untying The Knot, and Animal Planet’s North Woods Law.
