“I am humbled and grateful to receive this award.  UConn Health is a very special place where the faculty, staff, and leadership are committed to providing care second to none while also training the next generation of physicians and transforming healthcare for the future.  I am grateful to be a part of this exceptional organization. I sincerely thank the UConn Health Board of Directors for this special honor,” Bulsara said.

Born in India, Bulsara, immigrated to the United States from Zambia in 1983, graduated from Duke Medical School, where he received the “Ideal Physician Award.” He completed his residency at Duke and later trained under neurosurgery legends at institutions including the University of Arkansas and University of Iowa.
