California-based AI-native enterprise company Uniphore, has appointed Indian-American engineering executive Ravi Mayuram as its new chief technology officer (CTO).
With over 25 years of engineering leadership experience, Mayuram is set to bolster Uniphore’s position in the Enterprise AI space. In his new role, Mayuram will oversee Uniphore's engineering platform, technology, and AI groups.
As per an official statement, he will focus on scaling up the company’s technological capabilities while maintaining high standards of security and performance. His appointment comes at a pivotal time for Uniphore as the company expands its footprint in the global AI market.

Mayuram joins Uniphore from Luminary Cloud, where he served as chief development officer, leading product design and engineering. Prior to that, he was the CTO of Couchbase, a cloud-native NoSQL database company, where he played a key role in the company’s successful public offering. His career includes significant contributions at industry giants like Oracle, HP, and BEA, where he was involved in developing cloud collaboration platforms, distributed databases, and IoT systems.

Mayuram holds a Master of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Delhi.
