Universities say students’ visas being revoked, many of them Indian

According to popular Murthy Law Firm, the Department of State (DOS) has recently increased the use of something called “prudential visa revocation.”

Universities and colleges across the country have started reporting that the visas of several of their international students, including those from India, have been revoked.

Universities have been saying that they are unaware of why their visas are being revoked. However, at least two Indian students from Telangana reported on Apr.8 that their visas were revoked and that the SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) was terminated because they had speeding tickets.
