The US Chamber of Commerce and the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) have extended their congratulations to Donald J. Trump on his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States and JD Vance as the 50th Vice President.
“We congratulate Donald J. Trump on his inauguration today as the 47th President of the United States of America, and JD Vance as the 50th Vice President,” said Suzanne P. Clark, president and CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce. “Presidential inaugurations are a powerful reminder of the strength of our great nation and the promise that America’s best days lie ahead.”
Clark emphasized the Chamber’s role as a key partner in advancing policy solutions that benefit businesses and workers across the country. “The US Chamber has a unique vantage point not only as the White House’s neighbor across Lafayette Park, but as a partner to incoming administrations on policy solutions that allow businesses of all sizes and their workers to thrive,” she said.
The Chamber expressed its intent to work with the Trump administration on several policy areas, including reducing government regulation, maintaining a competitive tax environment, boosting domestic energy production, and addressing border security challenges.
“We will work with the President and his team to drive economic growth and provide more opportunities for every American,” Clark added.
