Vinay Mahajan, the national president of ITServeAlliance Inc., a collective of over 2,200 SME US IT companies, received the esteemed Lifetime Achievement Award at the 9th annual Gala and Awards recently hosted by the Indo-American Press Club (IAPC) held at the Stamford Hilton in Connecticut.
Mahajan holds the position of president and CEO at NAM Info Inc., a software services firm specializing in software consulting and the management of ongoing software development projects. As the leader of this multinational organization, Mahajan played a key role in steering the development team to secure approval for two patents related to SAFE, a fire safety application designed for high-rise buildings.
Mahajan, holding degrees in engineering and an MBA from renowned institutions, is a serial entrepreneur with a wealth of industry expertise spanning over 40 years. His experience encompasses leadership, marketing, finance, and engineering, and he has a track record of establishing and nurturing multiple enterprises.
“ITServe has grown and strengthened in its mission in protecting members interest, enhancing membership benefits, empowering local employment, empowering local community through various CSR programs including STEM education, and empowering the ecosystem of innovation and thus maintaining the leadership of US in Technology,” Mahajan said.
Highlighting the many initiatives undertaken by ITServe since its inception in 2010, he added, “IT Serve Alliance is led by highly talented individuals, phenomenally successful entrepreneurs, and Innovators who are enthusiastic about giving back to the community.”
Since taking office, Mahajan embarked on a journey to visit all 21 chapters across the United States within a span of 8 months. His efforts proved instrumental in significantly expanding the membership base, with an impressive addition of over 700 new members in 2023. Furthermore, under his leadership, two new chapters were established. Mahajan also played a crucial role in fortifying the STEM Education program by introducing STEM Training and Internship initiatives and enhancing the existing STEM scholarship program.
The IAPC was established to bring together the Indian diaspora media professionals throughout North America. It aimed to foster collaboration, and mutual support, and to present a united front to mainstream media and the broader community, providing a cohesive voice for its members.
