Republican presidential primary candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has criticized nationalist media outlets and his opponent Nikki Haley for spreading a "rigged" polling narrative.

This comes after the New York Post reported on December 22 that Haley was "skirking distance" from Trump in the New Hampshire GOP primary poll. In contrast to the New York Post's assertion, Ramaswamy claimed he has a lead over Nikki Haley among "probable" voters in New Hampshire following Donald Trump.

Ramaswamy said this headline was misleading, as the report mentions he is the second most popular candidate among “popular” voters whereas Haley trails by a significant margin. He argued that the tone of the article was a “desperate effort” to shape the race when poll results say otherwise.

Dubbing the NY post as Nikki Haley's “PR Arm”, Ramaswamy said on X,  “The MSM’s polling narratives are RIGGED right now. Open your eyes and see what they’re trying to do. This is part of a broader insidious plot and it’s just getting started.” He claimed that “the media uses this nonsense to drive their narrative in their desperate effort to shape the race.”

The American Research Group Inc. released their survey results which found Trump as the frontrunner, with 33 percent of likely GOP voters in NH favoring him while 29 percent favored Haley. However, among “probable” GOP primary voters, 33 percent backed Trump, 18 percent backed Ramaswamy, 14 percent backed Ron DeSantis, 9 percent backed Chris Christie, and 8 percent backed Haley. The remainder 16 percent, remained undecided.

Recently, Ramaswamy also called Haley out for failing to recognize slavery as a cause of the American Civil War. “Turns out Nikki knows as little about the Civil War as she does about the Ukraine War. But whatever war it was, I’m sure she’s in favor of it,” he said in a post.
