Australian cricketer Steve Smith will be seen playing for the Washington Freedom team in the upcoming season of the Major League Cricket (MLC) in the United States.
The Washington franchise secured Smith's services for the T20 league, marking his debut in American cricket.

Smith's association with the Washington Freedom franchise dates back to his appointment as its global brand ambassador last year. The strategic partnership between Smith's domestic team, New South Wales, and the Freedom further facilitated his transition to the league.
