‘We’re walking on eggshells’: Indian students in California over visas

As news spreads of student visa cancellations across the United States, Indian students in California find themselves at the heart of growing fear and uncertainty. “I am definitely shaken up,” says an Indian student at UCLA, requesting anonymity. “I’ve had my share of visa issues before, but this has brought all those anxieties back. There are now uncertainties regarding my immigration status. I am definitely walking on eggshells, and it's making me question if I really want to be here.”
