The World Vegan Vision (WVV) USA founded by HK Shah and Malti Shah organized a series of events to promote veganism and its benefits in Gujarat, India, earlier this month.
The initiative, brought together key members and activists, and fostered awareness and community engagement.
The day began with an insightful session at H.A. Commerce College, Ahmadabad, with the support of its principal Sanjay Vakil. The event featured keynote addresses by Dharti Thakkar, the newly elected president of the Gujarat chapter, and Khushbu Shah, a member of the WVV advisory board. The speakers emphasized the ethical, environmental, and health aspects of veganism, resonating with the audience.
In the afternoon, the Ahmedabad Medical Association Ladies Wing hosted an interactive session, where attendees participated in a vegan food competition, showcasing diverse and delicious plant-based cuisine.
The day concluded with a vegan dinner and meet and greet, bringing together activists and supporters for an evening of networking and inspiration. The event reinforced a collective commitment to sustainable living.
Acknowledgments were extended to Dharti Thakkar for her leadership and Khushbu Shah for her valuable contributions. The entire event took place under the coordination of Nitin Vyas, global public relations director WVV, and Dilip Thakkar, president of the Gujarat chapter.
World Vegan Vision advocates for veganism and holistic well-being through education, community events, and advocacy. Their mission aligns with promoting a healthier, more compassionate lifestyle that benefits both individuals and the planet.
