The New Jersey chapter of the World Vegan Vision participated in the Environmental Expo hosted by Sewa North Jersey in collaboration with AmeriCorps, FEMA, and others on Sept. 14.
The World Vegan Vision delegation led by president Kalindi Bakshi along with committee members Abha Devrajan, global public relations director Nitin Vyas, educated a diverse audience including volunteers from Sewa, Parsippany Mayor Barberio, Livingston Mayor Anthony, veterans, the police chief, and firefighters on the importance of a vegan lifestyle.
Through meaningful dialogues and educational displays, they promoted a compassionate, healthier lifestyle. Kalindi Bakshi expressed appreciation for the chance to engage with the community during the event.
Sewa International USA partneredwith AmeriCorps and 9/11 Day.org to commit to a lifetime of volunteering, civic engagement, and giving back during the event.
