At 24, Rajeev Persaud is not only one of the youngest university Hindu chaplains but also believes his age makes him more relatable to students.
Appointed Hindu chaplain at Emory University in September 2024, Persaud provides spiritual guidance and pastoral care to students, faculty, and staff from Hindu, Sikh, Jain, and Buddhist backgrounds. His role also includes organizing religious services, educational programs, and interfaith initiatives.
