ZEE5 Global, the streaming platform for South Asian content, announced the addition of Punajbi film Kudi Haryane Val Di on their add-on platform Chaupal.
Starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa the film offers a fresh take on romance, set against the backdrop of wrestling, and explores the cultural differences between Punjab and Harayana.
The story revolves around Shivjot, played by Virk. Shivjot is more interested in love than the sport than his wrestling-crazy family. Even though his family sees him as the odd one out, Shivjot remains determined to follow his heart. Things take a humorous turn when Shivjot meets Neelam, played by Bajwa. Neelam is the strong-willed daughter of Mann Singh Phogat, a local wrestling academy owner portrayed by Yashpal Sharma. Shivjot pretends to be a wrestling coach to win her affection, spinning a web of lies that leads to a funny and engaging story full of love and surprises.
Directed by Rakesh Dhawan, Kudi Haryane Val Di features a stellar cast, including seasoned actors like Yograj Singh, Yashpal Sharma, and Ajay Hooda.
ZEE5 Global is the digital entertainment destination launched by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL). It offers content across 18 languages: Hindi, English, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Punjabi, including six international languages Malay, Thai, Bahasa, Urdu, Bangla and Arabic.
