In commemoration of India’s 78th Independence Day, ZEE5 Global has announced the launch of two new titles on its Add-ons platform. The streaming giant will premiere the Punjabi film Sarabha on Cpics and the original series Sarpanchi on Chaupal.
Sarabha, a historical drama directed by Kavi Raz, chronicles the life of a young revolutionary who leads the fight against British rule. The film, previously released theatrically, has garnered critical acclaim for its portrayal of India’s first independence movement.
Meanwhile, Sarpanchi is a six-episode series that delves into the complexities of rural politics. The show follows the journey of a young man who unexpectedly becomes a sarpanch, offering a glimpse into the challenges and responsibilities of leadership.
